1: Marinade the chicken with Greek yoghurt, salt, turmeric, smoked paprika, garam masala, ginger, and minced garlic. 2: Prepare the butter chicken sauce by melting butter or ghee in the slow cooker. 3: Sauté the sliced brown onion until soft. 4: Add the remaining spices, ginger, garlic, and canned tomatoes to the slow cooker. 5: Add the marinated chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine. 6: Cook on high for several hours until the chicken is done. 7: Once cooked, mix in additional Greek yoghurt and optional cashew nut butter. 8: Divide into 8 portions and serve with rice or naan.
